Instructions

Adding this to your site couldn't be easier. There's just one line required:

<iframe src="http://www.ultrastream.co.uk/shoutouts/show/test"></iframe>

Replace the word test with your radio station mount point. If you are unsure what this is, contact us and we'll let you know.

Recommended Usage

The SMS board can either be used in a publicly accessible part of your website as a way for your listeners to interact with each other, or if you want to avoid potentially unsuitable messages being displayed, it could be used in an area known only to your staff. Staff could then read out selected messages over the air.

Customisation

To make the SMS board fit in with your site, you can replace the default style sheet. To do this, edit the src tag of the iFrame, and add this to the URL:

?css=http://path-to-your-css-file/

The main classes you can define are smsDate, which is the date line for each message, and smsMessage, which is the actual body of each message texted in.

A basic knowledge of CSS and style sheets is required to make this work.
